Replacing my pcv means replacing all of the associated hoses and connectors that inevitably get broken. These are what I found tend to work the best.
All of these hoses and connectors are just bound to broke. Hoses were obliterated by the time I was done with them. Connector wasn’t bad, but I did break off a small piece of the nipple. Couple not car parts scattered in this photo
Really easy job other than the hoses. Doesn’t matter though, I still didn’t get it finished. Ended up going up to the last weekend of Oktoberfest at snowbird and passing out afterwards.
Not to mention there is an issue on these subys with the fuel hoses under the manifold. Gotta see if I can tighten some hose clamps down while I’m in there with the intercooler off. You can just barely see some of the hard fuel lines under the new PCV there.

You should invest in a hose puller tool. It's a little U shaped hook that does wonders for loosening stuck hoses. You can usually re use the hose but even if you're replacing them this tool will save your hands.

I figured that was a thing. I'll have to see if the little store behind my work has one. My hands are absolutely thrashed. Something about not liking to use gloves and slipping when pulling on things leads to a good bit of scrapes cuts and blood

A little dab of petroleum jelly (Vaseline) can help when sliding new hoses into place. It will also minimize your chances of damage if you have to disconnect it again later.

I have just been doing all new hoses everywhere. When it’s new rubber it is so easy!

:( I know your pain. My least favorite job I’ve ever done b/c I didn’t want to do extra work.
